Guarded by our Maremma livestock guardian dogs, our girls are free to roam our pastured paddocks.

This gorgeous girl is loyal, graceful and intelligent in every aspect of her hard-working day. While she often loves a friendly pat, she always remains on guard to protect her true clucking companions.

Our youngest Maremma pup is loveable and energetic yet loyal when it comes to safeguarding his sincerest friends.

This glorious boy is both goofy and tenacious. Dedicated to his favourable flock, he is only easily distracted by jerky and a camera lens!

Our wisest and mightiest of the pack, this girl is both bold and bright. Her smile might make her appear distracted, but she is effortlessly watchful and attentive to her brood.
Meet Little Puppy!
The smallest of her litter, Little Puppy is the quintessential representation of this livestock guardian breed. She is faithful, intelligent and protective, identifying as a member of the busy group.
Meet Tigger!
Now retired to a broadacre farm in Dalwallinu, Western Australia, Tigger is a long-standing, unforgettable member of the pack. This loveable guy remains paternal in character, but prefers his days amongst rambunctious, two-legged friends.
In 2005, Katie Joy’s Free Range Eggs began with 150 chickens in an old machinery shed on the Mason family farm in Kojonup, Western Australia. Now we’ve grown to a family of seven with too many chickens to count, but thanks to our team of specially trained Maremma livestock guardian dogs our hens are safe to roam freely in our pastured paddocks.
Now, Katie Joy’s is proud to bring you naturally grown, spray-free rolled oats. These delicious oats have been harvested from our viridescent paddocks and packed on the family farm.
Recently, a partnership between Katie Joy’s and local apiarist Alex means our red gum, raw honey from the natural flora reserves have both anti-microbial properties and a delectable taste.
These products share a theme of wholesome, homegrown goodness.
Kate and her busy team are committed to providing healthy, local and sustainable products to the Western Australia community. We look forward to any and all feedback you wish to share with us!
